Description
The Huawei eKitEngine AP761 is a high-performance outdoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) Access Point designed for enterprise campuses, hotels, schools, industrial parks, warehouses, stadiums, public squares, resorts, and other outdoor environments. Featuring dual-band 2×2 MIMO, a maximum wireless rate of 1.775 Gbps, and built-in directional antennas, it delivers reliable long-range wireless coverage and high-speed connectivity.
Designed for harsh outdoor deployments, the AP761 features an IP68-rated waterproof and dustproof enclosure, 6 kV surge protection, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +65°C, ensuring stable operation in demanding weather conditions. The integrated directional antennas provide optimized outdoor coverage with a recommended coverage distance of up to 180 meters.
The access point supports Wi-Fi 6 technologies such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, Beamforming, BSS Coloring, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for improved wireless efficiency, lower latency, and better user experience in high-density environments. It supports up to 1,024 connected clients with 120 recommended concurrent users.
For flexible deployment, the AP761 includes 1 × Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) port and 1 × Gigabit SFP optical uplink, allowing either copper or fiber network connections. It is powered through IEEE 802.3af/at PoE, simplifying installation while reducing cabling costs. The AP can be managed through Huawei eKit Cloud, Huawei Wireless Access Controllers, or local web management for centralized monitoring and configuration.
