Description
The Huawei eKitEngine AC650-256AP is an enterprise-grade Wireless Access Controller (WAC) designed to centrally manage and secure wireless networks for small and medium-sized businesses, enterprise campuses, hotels, schools, hospitals, retail stores, and public Wi-Fi deployments. It can manage up to 256 Huawei access points without requiring additional AP licenses, making it an ideal solution for scalable WLAN deployments.
The controller integrates 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 × 10GE SFP+ uplink ports, enabling high-speed wired connectivity while simplifying network architecture. It supports centralized AP configuration, firmware upgrades, RF optimization, roaming, authentication, and security policy management from a single platform.
The AC650-256AP includes advanced enterprise WLAN technologies such as Layer 2/Layer 3 roaming, 802.1X authentication, Portal authentication, MAC authentication, WPA/WPA2/WPA3 security, RADIUS, ACLs, VLANs, QoS, Load Balancing, and Smart Radio Management, ensuring secure and uninterrupted wireless connectivity for large numbers of users. It also supports cloud-based deployment and centralized management through Huawei’s networking ecosystem.
Its compact 1U form factor, fanless design, built-in switching capabilities, and flexible desktop, wall-mount, or rack installation make it suitable for a wide range of enterprise environments.
