Description
The Panduit CMDSLCZBU Mini-Com® Duplex LC Fiber Adapter Module is a compact singlemode fiber connectivity module designed for structured cabling, telecom rooms, and data center fiber installations. It uses a duplex LC to LC adapter in a Mini-Com® snap-in module format, allowing it to fit directly into compatible Panduit faceplates, patch panels, and surface mount boxes.
This model is intended for OS1/OS2 singlemode fiber applications and includes zirconia ceramic split sleeves, which are the preferred sleeve material for singlemode fiber because they provide precise ferrule alignment and low insertion loss. The module features a blue LC duplex adapter with a blue Mini-Com® module body, following common singlemode color identification practices.
The CMDSLCZBU is built to meet TIA/EIA-604 FOCIS-10 requirements and exceeds TIA/EIA-568-B.3 performance expectations. It offers an average 0.1 dB insertion loss, making it suitable for enterprise LANs, fiber backbone links, FTTH environments, and other high-performance optical network applications.
