The Huawei eKitEngine S380-S8P2T is an enterprise-class Multi-Service Security Gateway designed for small and medium-sized businesses, retail stores, hotels, schools, healthcare facilities, and branch offices. It integrates routing, firewall, VPN, PoE switching, wireless access point management, and intelligent traffic control into a single compact device, delivering a secure and simplified networking solution for modern enterprise environments.
The gateway is equipped with 2 × Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports and 8 × Gigabit PoE+ LAN ports with a 124W total PoE budget, enabling direct power delivery to IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and access control devices. This reduces deployment costs while simplifying network infrastructure.
Designed to support up to 300 concurrent users, the S380-S8P2T offers enterprise-grade networking features including Stateful Firewall, NAT, IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, L2TP VPN, IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, QoS, ACL, DHCP Server, Multi-WAN Load Balancing, and intelligent bandwidth management. These capabilities ensure secure, reliable, and optimized network performance for business-critical applications.
The gateway also functions as a wireless access controller, supporting centralized management of up to 128 Huawei eKit Access Points through Huawei eKit Cloud. Administrators can remotely deploy, configure, monitor, and update devices using the cloud platform or the intuitive web interface, significantly reducing maintenance time and operational costs.
