The HPE Aruba Networking 2930F 24G 4SFP+ Switch (JL253A) is a high-performance Layer 3 managed access switch designed for enterprise campuses, branch offices, and SMB networks. Equipped with 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports and 4 dedicated 1/10GbE SFP+ uplink ports, it provides reliable high-speed connectivity for users, servers, and network aggregation while supporting future network expansion.
Powered by Aruba’s ProVision ASIC and a dual-core ARM processor, the switch delivers 128 Gbps switching capacity and 95.2 million packets per second forwarding performance with low latency. It supports advanced Layer 3 features including Static Routing, RIP, Access OSPF, IPv6 routing, VLANs, ACLs, QoS, and robust security policies without requiring additional software licenses.
The switch supports Virtual Switching Framework (VSF), allowing up to eight physical switches to operate as a single logical device for simplified management and increased network resiliency. Integration with Aruba Central, AirWave, REST APIs, and Zero Touch Provisioning simplifies deployment and centralized management across enterprise environments. Although this model does not support PoE, it is ideal for deployments where powered Ethernet is not required.
