Description
The Yeastar TE200 is a dual-port PRI / E1 / T1 / J1 VoIP gateway designed to bridge legacy ISDN telephony infrastructure with modern SIP-based VoIP systems. It is built for businesses, service providers, hotels, hospitals, enterprises, and branch offices that need to connect PRI trunks, legacy PBX systems, or digital carrier lines to an IP-PBX, SIP trunk, or unified communications environment without replacing the existing telephony setup.
The gateway features 2 configurable E1/T1/J1 ports, supporting PRI and E&M applications, and can handle up to 60 simultaneous VoIP-to-ISDN calls. This makes it a strong fit for organizations with medium telephony traffic that need reliable voice routing between digital telecom lines and IP networks. It can be used both for VoIP to PRI and PRI to VoIP deployments, giving businesses flexibility during telephony migration projects or hybrid voice infrastructure rollouts.
The TE200 supports SIP protocol and enterprise telephony features such as call routing rules, caller ID manipulation, digit stripping/appending, SIP trunking, trunk groups, call detail records (CDR), and SIP registrar for IP phones. It is also compatible with a wide range of IP-PBX systems, SIP servers, and legacy PBX environments, making it suitable for interoperability-focused installations.
For voice quality and media handling, the TE200 supports codecs including G.711, G.722, G.726, G.729A, GSM, ADPCM, and Speex, along with ITU-T G.168 echo cancellation, dynamic jitter buffering, and T.38 fax support. It also includes business-grade security and management features such as TLS, SRTP, firewall, QoS, DDNS, web-based management, packet capture, backup/restore, system logs, and HTTP/TFTP firmware upgrades.
Hardware-wise, the Yeastar TE200 provides 1 Gigabit LAN port and 1 Gigabit WAN port, with a compact metal desktop chassis suitable for office or telecom room deployment. It is a practical option for businesses that want to preserve existing PRI infrastructure while integrating with SIP trunks, IP PBX systems, or hosted voice platforms. Yeastar positions the TE series as a cost-effective way to connect legacy ISDN PRI lines to VoIP while keeping deployment and management relatively simple.
