The TP-Link Deco M5 AC1300 Mesh Wi-Fi System (2-Pack) is a dual-band whole-home mesh Wi-Fi solution designed to eliminate dead zones and provide seamless wireless coverage throughout homes, apartments, and small offices. Using TP-Link Deco Mesh Technology, the two Deco units work together as a single Wi-Fi network, automatically connecting your devices to the strongest node as you move around your home for uninterrupted streaming, gaming, and video conferencing.
Powered by IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 (Wi-Fi 5) technology, the Deco M5 delivers combined wireless speeds of up to AC1300, offering 400 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. It supports MU-MIMO, Beamforming, and Dual-Band Wi-Fi, ensuring stable and efficient connections for over 100 connected devices simultaneously.
The 2-Pack provides seamless Wi-Fi coverage of up to 3,800 sq. ft. (approximately 350 m²), making it ideal for medium-sized homes. Each Deco unit includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports that automatically function as WAN or LAN ports, allowing flexible wired connections for PCs, smart TVs, gaming consoles, or network switches.
Security is enhanced with TP-Link HomeCare™, which includes Parental Controls, Quality of Service (QoS), SPI Firewall, built-in antivirus (on supported firmware), guest networks, IPv6 support, and remote management through the TP-Link Deco mobile app. Installation is quick and simple using Bluetooth-assisted setup and step-by-step guidance in the Deco app.
