  • Cisco 3650 24PS-E maximum available po+ power supply

Hi all,   We are using WS-C3650-24PS-E to both supply and connect our external devices. According to the datasheet, it is provided that such device can support up to 30W for each po+ port. What is the maximum  amount of power which can be provided with only single power supply? In addition to that, are we allowed to use two separate power suppliers ? If yes, can we consider the available power as twice of single one. I will be content , if you can specify power values for each case. What are configuration …

However they would like to use a Flexlink to provide a backup connection, and we are seeing traffic loss due to this bug: https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCtn47111/?referring_site=bugquickviewclick There is a list of IOS versions at that link that have the bug fix. My question is which IOS version should I upgrade him to? Does anyone have any experience of any of the 12.2(58)SE… …

  • Cat 3560 24PS no console connectivity.

I have a Cat3560 24PS POE switch in my Networking Academy.  There is no console connectivity.  Switch operates as L2 switch and shows up in CDP as a neighbor.  Password recovery does not work either.  Nothing is displayed in terminal.  I tried every possible baud rate too and still nothing in terminal.  Any suggestions besides “paperweight”.  Thanks Kevin

  • question on 3560 ios image

Hi, I picked up a nice ws-C3560-24ps -S V063560 as a trade in.  it is marked ios 12.2(25)SEE3 on the back.  what file would I be looking for to upgrade it to the latest IOS for that model?  Since it is 10/100 and manufactured in 2007 it is probably pretty old.  Want to upgrade it to use for a lab switch to play around with layer 3 commands and vlan’s. thanks!   Jeff
